Veterans United For Truth...February 2012 Newsletter

Recently I received an email which stated, in part, “Why are you always attacking the VA?. They do the best they can. It’s not all their fault.” The gentlemen who asked the question had been in the system since shortly after the Korean War and had no complaints. He went on to say later in that long email (paraphrased), “Most of us are satisfied. Is the problem with you? Are you just angry because your claim is in trouble? Do your job and you’ll get service from the VA.”

Your Benefits:  Do you need a lawyer?   Too many veterans give up when VA denies their claim. If the veteran doesn't give up, he or she may not know what to do and in a panic, the vet will seek advice from total strangers on the Internet or from an unskilled Veterans Service Officer. At the moment that you receive a letter from VA that denies your claim you become eligible to retain a highly trained attorney. Click here to learn how to retain your lawyer.

Your Benefits:  The Independent Medical Exam   Any time you make a claim for a VA disability compensation benefit, you'll be required to undergo a Compensation & Pension (C & P) exam.  All too often these exams aren't done very well. You may need an exam by a highly qualified medical doctor who has no bias and who will render a scientific evaluation of the evidence on record.  Read up about the IME by clicking here.

At the center of the case is Xavier Alvarez, a man nobody disputes is a liar. He lied about being an ex-professional hockey player. He lied about being an engineer.
