| H1N1 FLU VACCINE
NOW AT SOME VA FACILITIES
Veterans should ask their Primary Care

The
H1N1 flu vaccine is now available at some VA facilities.
But, you have to ask for it.
I discovered this at my VA just
a couple days ago.
There were no signs posted.
But, when I asked the Primary
Care Team nurse, she said they had just a few doses.
Sure enough, I got the last
dose.
And, the nurse giving the
injection said that the vaccine is being "metered" into the VA
system.
A veteran friend of mine who
lives on the other side of the country told me he had an identical
experience.
Also, it appears some VA
facilities are screening vets to see if they fall into an "at
risk" group, and some facilities are not.
So, if you want the H1N1
vaccine, give your Primary Care Team a call.
