------------------------- The term "clueless" as applied to VA Secretary
Jim Nicholson appeared in an editorial in the Charlotte Observer.
The editorial said: "Mr. Nicholson is clueless...He insults the
public...He offered [a] mindless mantra...[He] needs to toss his
rose-colored glasses." That story here... Nothing has changed since that editorial was written. On Wednesday, July 25, 2007, Nicholson appeared on the C-SPAN program Newsmakers. The program was aired on Sunday, July 29, 2007. Nicholson bumbled his was through the interview and said: The VA is "a benevolent system...grant if you can, deny only if you must."
