The VA Advisory Committee on OIF/OEF Veterans and
Families will host this meeting for veterans, family members,
survivors and service members who recently served in Iraq
or Afghanistan to support Operation Iraqi Freedom/
Operation Enduring Freedom.

 

In April 2007, the Secretary of U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs established the Advisory Committee on OIF/OEF Veterans and Families. The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to provide advice and recommendations to the Secretary regarding health care, benefits delivery and related family support issues that service members confront during their transition from active duty to veterans’ status. The Committee will focus on the concerns of all men and women with active military service in Operation Iraqi Freedom and/ or Operation Enduring Freedom.
