UPDATE: SENATOR LARRY CRAIG'S STATEMENT ON

BATHROOM ARREST -- Craig states: Police "...were

misconstruing my actions. I was not involved

in any inappropriate conduct."

 

 

Senator Craig's statement below is absurd!

This man is a LAWMAKER and he didn't consult an attorney before pleading guilty?

That is completely unbelievable.

He was trying to sweep this under the rug.

Now, it's on the nightly news!

Craig's judgment on this matter goes beyond the level of being suspect.

Because of this, we must question all that Craig has done, and all that he says he is.

Sen. Larry Craig's office has released this statement today:

“At the time of this incident, I complained to the police that they were misconstruing my actions. I was not involved in any inappropriate conduct.

“I should have had the advice of counsel in resolving this matter. In hindsight, I should not have pled guilty. I was trying to handle this matter myself quickly and expeditiously.”
